How to get Minions
The Lab Update introduced Minions, 11 initial Minions, Capsules and the Minion bundle. The official helper guide places the first Minion unlock in the Hacker Upgrade Tree around Prestige 8, with another Capsule tier arriving at Prestige 10.
Minions primarily support Hacker Points, Rune upgrades and later currencies. Their value depends on the current bottleneck, so a lower-rarity Minion with the correct stat can be more useful than a rarer option aimed at a currency you are not using.

Capsule upgrades
The official guide lists the Basic Capsule unlock at 250K Hacker Points. Further Hacker Tree nodes improve Capsule Luck, Capsule Bulk, storage, the number of equipped Minions and the strength of Minion stats.
Upgrade the Capsule system before spending a long session opening. Luck improves result quality, Bulk improves attempts per opening, and storage prevents a full inventory from interrupting the session.

Choose Minions by bottleneck
Use Hacker Point or Rune-focused Minions while developing the Laboratory, Prism-focused Minions before expensive tree purchases, and World 2 Minions while rebuilding Water, Wood or Gems. The Prestige 10 route recommends mixed loadouts for some currencies instead of simply equipping four copies of the same Capsule result.
Keep a small set of role-based loadouts rather than selling every duplicate immediately. Progression changes quickly between Prestiges, and a Minion that looks weak in World 1 may provide the exact World 2 multiplier needed after a reset.
